Nestled in the Côte d’Azur hilltops, the 4-star Les Terrasses d’Eze Hotel is located between Nice and Monaco. With 87 rooms, spa and leisure facilities and a bar and restaurants, the hotel offers a unique panorama of the Mediterranean Sea.

Purpose:

  • The hotel needed to replace its aging property management software
  • This project needed to also add value through enhanced customer service experiences and improved connectivity to online booking sites

Challenges:

  • The hotel was keen to invest in a product which would have longevity, and which would be supported by the supplier for the foreseeable future.
  • Any new investment had to communicate with existing hotel systems so needed to have sufficient connections and integrations to deliver this. This was essential to ensure that these other systems didn’t need to be updated.

Solution:

  • Our client chose protel having received word-of-mouth recommendations from other protel users and other hotels owned by the same group, where protel is a preferred partner.
  • The platform also offered a wide range of connection interfaces ensuring versatility and future-proofing, and one of these fitted well with one of the hotel’s existing distribution channels.

  • protel is a much faster product than the previous solution. This has led to quicker transactions, better connectivity with other operational software and a better customer journey online and at the hotel.
  • Revenue has increased because protel provides better visibility and interaction with online hotel room searches and booking systems.
